Anthony Mitchell (born 27 May 1989) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is hooker.
After playing for the Brothers RL in Townsville, Mitchell was called up to the NRL near the end of the 2010 season. He made his first-grade debut against the Brisbane Broncos, scoring a try in the win.
Despite only three games of NRL experience, Mitchell was selected to play for the Indigenous All Stars after Preston Campbell was forced to withdraw due to injury.[1]
During 2011, he made a mid-season transfer from Parramatta to the Sydney Roosters after the retirement of Mark 'Piggy' Riddell
